It's like nature knows when it's June 1. Spring was just here, but quickly turned into summer. We got back from the Netherlands and there you have it: warm, humid, afternoon thunderstorms, the whole thing. It feels and smells like a nursery and everything exploded into green. And believe it or not, but on June 1 we saw the first fireflies, heard the first cycades and spotted the first hummingbird, all on the same day. One hummingbird does mean it's summer......
